How do I join AUIM?
AU In Motion has auditions every fall and spring. We have auditions for choreographers if you wish to choreograph and we have regular auditions for dancers as well.
Can anyone participate?
Yes! We encourage all dancers, with many different backgrounds, to audition and showcase their talents. We are an inclusive environment that welcomes all dancers no matter their experience or skill level!
How often does AU In Motion meet?
It depends on when your choreographer schedules rehearsal. Most of the time you're meeting once a week with your dance learning choreography and preparing for our showcase at the end of the semester.
Is there a specific cost or fee I have to pay to be a member?
There's no cost to audition, just bring yourself and your dance shoes! When we finalize the dances and who is placed where the E-Board will ask all the members for a small amount to contribute to costuming and other expenses for the semester. Otherwise, there's no expensive fee to dance with us.
